Job description for Youth positions, St. John's UMC (Lubbock)

St.
John's United Methodist Church is looking to fill two part-time youth positions.
Although one position will be primarily responsible for Senior High and one for Junior high, these positions will work together to develop and run the youth program.
Responsibilities include:
During School Year:
Organizing Youth class on Sunday mornings (teaching or recruiting teachers) and Youth fellowship on Sunday evenings Coordinating volunteers Planning programs During Summer:
As above, with additional programming responsibilities Regular participation in worship is expected.
Qualifications Required:
Preferred:
Youth ministry and/or secondary education training or experience Hours During school year--10-15hrs/ week, during the summer 20hrs/week (though some weeks will require more and some will require less).
Must be able to work Sundays 9am-12pm and 5:
15pm-7:
15pm, other special events.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
