00 Salary/year Job Shift Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Description Under the moderate supervision of the Veteran Programs Director, the Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) Veteran Case Manager will screen, enroll, and case manage eligible low-income veteran families in housing stability crises.
This position will develop and administer appropriate interventions and referrals, including delivery of program-specific services that reasonably lower the veteran families' barriers to housing and corollary supportive services.
Provide appropriate intermediate community referrals necessary for program participants' long-term stability and community reintegration.
Outreach to the community and develop substantive networks among Department of Veteran Affairs, veteran service, homeless prevention, supportive service, and housing agencies that advance the interests of homeless veteran families.
Advocate for homeless veteran families and this program with a vision towards ending veteran homelessness in the community.
Complete timely and accurate reports and documentation necessary for program compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Veterans Service Coordinator.
Work Hours:
Normal work hours will be M-F, 8am - 5pm.
Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the program.
Pay to Stay Incentive Program Upon completion of first 30 days$5006 month work anniversary$50012 month work anniversary$1,00024 month work anniversary$2,000 Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in Human Services or a related field is preferred; some college and/or high school diploma and two (2) years' experience in veteran services will be considered.
Must be a veteran or member of the U.
S.
Armed Forces (any branch), have experience as a veteran caregiver, or have direct work experience with state or federal military and veteran programs.
Skill in operating standard office machines (telephone phone, fax, copier, calculator, etc.
) and personal computer with intermediate or greater experience with the standard Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
).
Some regional travel is required.
Selected candidate must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency insurance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
