Associate Parking Attendant - Parking - Covenant Medical Center New Covenant Health is seeking a Part-Time, Day Shift Associate Parking Attendant with the Parking Department at Covenant Medical Center.

Summary:
Under general supervision, patrols assigned parking areas to ensure compliance of the Campus Parking and Traffic Regulations.
Assist the Parking Clerk in maintaining the Parking Services database.
Valet vehicles from CMC campus from valet area of CMC back and forth to valet surface parking lot.
Provide staffing for JACC and LDC parking booths to monitor vehicles entering the area to see they are patients.
Provide staffing for CMC east visitor garage parking booth to accept payment for parking fees.
Assist with duties at the valet desk to include dispatching Parking Officers and providing assistance and information to those in need.
Providing good customer service and greetings to all visitors, patients, and employees at all times.
Essential Functions:
Valet vehicles safely from CMC valet entrance back and forth to the valet surface parking lot.
Maintains accurate documentation of all vehicle keys.
Provide staffing of parking booths to include JACC and LDC to monitor the vehicles entering this are patients of the occupants of each building.
Provide staffing of parking booth at exit of CMC East Garage to accept payments for paid parking, accepting free parking passes, documenting cash and parking passes received, assist in allowing exit of vehicles leaving the parking garage, monitoring the area for any problems, providing information and assistance to visitors, patients, and employees.
Observes campus parking areas and issues parking citations in accordance to Campus Parking and Traffic Regulations.
Performs duties of a Parking Clerk, which includes issuance of parking assignments, assist employees/staff members in the completion of the required paperwork, ability to explain and clarify any questions that may be asked of the Traffic and Parking Regulations, and maintain the Parking Database.
Report any an all fire/safety hazards, presence of unauthorized persons or other potential sources of crime or harm to persons or property and reports it to a Security Officer or Communications Specialist.
Performs traffic control duties in parking areas to ensure a steady, safe and orderly traffic flow as need may arise.
Records detailed, accurate information when issuing citations, to eliminate or greatly reduce questioning the justification of the issuance of parking citations.
Provides patients/visitors with directions and general information concerning the campus.
Minimum Position Requeirements
Experience:
1 year Customer service or related experience, preferably within a hospital or campus environment.
2 years Safe driving experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Texas (class C) Driver's License.

Coursework/Training 30 hours of higher education coursework.
Coursework/Training Documented customer service training.
