Vance GaddDescriptionWe are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an OSP Engineer in our Lubbock, TX office.

The OSP Engineer will perform Fiber-to-the-Premise outside plant design tasks related to telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Tasks include preparing pole loading analysis, construction permits, high-level and detailed fiber network designs, staking maps, and as-built maps.

Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.
S.
and not require sponsorship.
This is not a remote position.
Qualifications Experience with preparing Fiber-to-the-Premise OSP designs for telecommunication service providers is preferred.
Detailed experience with AutoCAD 3D and associated GIS toolsets that are utilized in mapping of telecommunications outside plant networks.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and shape le creation/manipulation.
Requires good oral and written communication skills.
Desire and ability to work towards obtaining a Professional Engineer license.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work on multiple projects.
Education and/or Experience A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
Experience as a design engineer for an ISP, telephone company, or cable TV provider (or as a consultant to those providers) and experience with engineering economic analysis and optimization is preferred.
