Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Demonstrates competence and continues training in age-specific competencies for age 12 through 18 (adult clients).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assures delivery of the clinical services of the residential program.
Reviews all evaluations in order to determine the integrated summary prior to treatment plan development.
Meets weekly with therapist to assure the accuracy of the assessment and diagnosis, treatment plan, assure family involvement, identify other needed interventions and evaluate client progress.
Meets weekly with social workers to assure the accuracy of the bio-psycho/social history, coordination of communication with outside agencies, family and discharge planning.
Provides clinical direction for all staff.
Chairs the weekly treatment team meeting.
Supervises the treatment planning and treatment plan implementation.
Oversights the completion of all needed clinical assessments.
Develops the annual clinical training plan and coordinates and/or provides the training directly.
Coordinates clinical services with the psychiatrist and the Psych-ARNP.
Participates in the Performance Improvement process to monitor the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of documentation, and overall client satisfaction of the program.
Assures the content, accuracy and completeness of the clinical record.
Assists with developing and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the program.
Reports critical incidents to DFPS verbally within 12 hours and written within 24 hours.
After successful completion of Medication Administration course, may administer prescribed medication; documents and observes its effects.
Provides supervision for practicum students.
Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
Ensures clients' rights are protected.
Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Other duties as assigned.
Will participate in a minimum of 40 hours in-service education per year.
Requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Social Work or related Human Services field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed independent practitioner in the State of Texas
Prefer minimum of two years' experience in residential programs
Prefer previous supervisory experience
First Aid/CPR.
Mandt
Must be 21 years of age.
Must pass a drug screen and TB Skin Test.
FBI Fingerprint Check.
Submit to a Criminal History and DFPS History Check.
Pass a Centralized Background Check through the Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility and any background checks deemed to be necessary.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
