Delivery Driver (Class C)
Job Function:
As a Class B driver, you will be responsible to drive the company truck from the company office and between various locations to deliver and pick-up equipment and automotive parts.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for making local deliveries and inventorying all stops, performing pre/post trip inspection, can read and speak English language sufficiently, English/Spanish a plus, can reason of experience, train, or both safely operate a tractor or commercial motor vehicle he/she drives, report to work when scheduled and on time, follow instructions given by leaders upon request and be a team player
Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations.
Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons to transport and deliver products, livestock, or other materials.
Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.

Qualifications:
Class C license
Must posses an active valid drivers license and good driving record.
Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 100 lbs.
Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen
Must have the ability to work overtime as required
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
