Architect

Performs responsible work in the production of contract documents and architectural design work for building construction or landscape projects. Major/Essential Functions
Provide architectural design and construction documents for renovation, and new construction projects. Conduct design review meetings to ensure designs meet customer needs and coordinate with appropriate campus personnel.
Identify and develop scope and estimates for improvement projects and submit them into the campus Capital Improvement Project (CIP) program.
Provide architectural expertise to other departments as needed to assist in maintenance, renovation and new construction projects. Serve as Operations Department project manager for Facility Planning and Construction projects.
Develop and review projects for compliance with campus departmental standards, building codes, environmental health and safety requirement and campus architectural standards.
Assist in conducting facility audits and preparing written report detailing findings and recommendations for building codes and ADA requirements.
Perform full scope project management responsibilities. Develop and manage project through scope, budgeting, design, bid and award phases and oversee the construction phase through project completion.
Seek and attend training opportunities to keep up to date with latest available technologies, building codes, life safety codes, construction techniques and energy and natural resource conservation.
Support and comply with the Operations Division safety program to include all safety/health rules, regulations, operating policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; three years professional work experience related to the specific assigned area. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Architect or ability to obtain license

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
