Summary:
Provides spiritual care to all patients/families, hospital staff, physicians, volunteers, and other in assigned clinical areas. Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients/families in assigned clinical area. Participates in building church/hospital relationships. Works cooperatively with other Staff Chaplains, Interns/Residents and Supervisors-In-Training in CPE. Participates fully as a student in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program. Moderate supervision is required.
Essential Functions:
1. Provides spiritual care to all patients/families and hospital staff in assigned clinical areas.
2. Functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team caring for patient/families in the assigned areas.
3. Participates in on-call coverage of the hospital as assigned.
4. Conducts worship services, arranges for baptisms, and delivers communion.
5. Assists in departmental administrative duties.
6. Provides pastoral counseling.
7. Provides necessary documentation on all information relevant to pastoral care.
8. Cooperates fully as a student in the Clinical Patoral Education Program.
Preferred Position
Qualifications:
Some college/ Bachelor's degree preferred
