Great Gardens Greenhouse March 2016 – August 2016 

  • Assisted with the planting/transplanting, watering, cutting back, and fertilizing of many types of plants including flowers, vegetables, trees, and shrubs to have high quality product

  • Developed plant arrangements for custom planters to the exact specifications of the customer 

  • Managed the cash register when customers were finished with their shopping 

  • Performed tasks for customers when they needed help finding a certain plant, chemical, or gardening tool, or when they needed assistance carrying heavy objects like soil to give customers the best experience they could have

  • Conducted counts and collections of grasshoppers at 5 mile intervals in a variety of areas around Wyoming to gage grasshopper populations and prevent over population

  • Performed biological control actions on unwanted species of plants (i.e. Dalmatian Toadflax) and insects (i.e. Emerald Ash Borer) too slow or stop the invasive species and preserve native species

  • Communicated with local ranchers and farmers to educate about how to control populations of unwanted species of plants and insects
