Currently I serve as the “Super User” for all West Texas operations, including Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, & San Angelo. Prepared agendas and meeting minutes for all employee-related accident, injury, and safety committee review board meetings. Responsible for accounts payable for Human Resources department, utilizing GEMS software, prepared purchase orders, and handled all scheduling, travel, and correspondence for HR Director. Ordered office supplies for HR department, performed data entry on employee files, including entering and updating employee drivers license records and ensured that all information was up to date in accordance with state law requirements. Prepared outgoing correspondence to employees, department heads, safety representatives, and outside vendors, and handled all verifications of employment. Legal Assistant II – City Attorney’s office June 2009 – April 2011
Prepared and filed various legal documents in district and federal court, provides personal assistance to two Assistant City Attorney’s, such as typing letters to vendors, citizens, attorney’s, court clerks, judges, and insurance companies, regarding a variety of legal issues. Continue to process incoming damage claims and follow up correspondence to claimaints regarding their claims. Prepare Ordinances, Resolutions, memorandums to City Council members, schedule meetings and conference calls with various clients, attorney’s, and internal personnel departments within the City of Lawton, assist in witness interviews in preparation for trials and/or union arbitrations.
